الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.
The Prophet ﷺ said this upon waking.

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ فَتْحَهُ وَنَصْرَهُ وَنُورَهُ وَبَرَكَتَهُ وَهُدَاهُ
We have entered the morning and the whole kingdom of Allah, Lord of the worlds, has too. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this day — its opening, its victory, its light, its blessings and its guidance.
A supplication upon waking, asking for the good of the day.
